Professor Dr. Mohamed Marghany Khairy (Senior Partner):
LLB Ain Shams 1963, LLM Ain Shams 1965, PhD Ain Shams 1968. Teaching Assistant Ain Shams University 1963, appointed as full professor Ain Shams University 1982, Head of the Public Law Department Ain Shams 1987-1998. Visiting Professor, University of Mohamed V (Morocco), University of Oujda (Morocco), Judicial Institute (Yemen), Dean of Law Institute of Environmental Studies (1985-1991), Legal Counsel for the Academy of Arts (1981-present). Professor Marghany has authored numerous books in the field of Public Law including the first Arabic book on Moroccan Administrative Law (1975) and various books on the theory of constitutional law, political regimes, and administrative litigation.
He was appointed as special advisor to a number of governments including the government of Kuwait on the constitutional ramifications of the stock exchange collapse (Manakh Market), the unification of Yemen, hence the key participation in the drafting of the new Yemeni Constitution, Kingdom of Bahrain on the drafting of their new constitution.
Dr. Marghany heads the Administrative Law practice and specializes in Administrative Law and Administrative Law Litigation, Constitutional law and Constitutional Law Litigation, Labor Law, Tax Law, Capital Markets and Infrastructure Projects.
Dr. Marghany is admitted to plea before the Supreme Court since 1985, he sits on the board of directors for the Egyptian Society for Economy, Statistics and Legislation, a permanent member of the UNHABITAT board of trustees and Egypt’s National Specialized Councils. Dr. Marghany speaks Arabic and French.

Practice Areas Telecommunications, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, privatization, special sale and lease agreements for industrial and telecommunications projects, capital markets, securities offerings, arbitration and ADR, licensing, franchising, e-commerce and m-commerce. Advised and represented a number of telecommunication service providers (operators, ISPs, VARs, VAS providers, data and financial clearinghouses) in regulatory and inter-operator issues
Amir is a member of the Egyptian Bar Association since 1996 and is currently admitted to plea before the Court of Appeals. Amir speaks Arabic, English, French and Italian.
Momen Marghany (Senior Associate)
LLB Ain Shams 1992, Momen has joined us after his graduation in 1992, he specializes in Commercial Law litigation, IP Registration, Labor Law, and enforcement of foreign arbitration awards. Momen is a member of the Egyptian bar Association since 1992, he is currently admitted to plea before the Court of Appeals.
Raffat Ibrahim (Senior Counsel)
LLB Ain Shams, 1987, LLM Ain Shams 1989., Mr. Ibrahim has joined Marghany Advocates in 1991.

Mr. Mohamed has joined our practice in 1997; he specializes in Administrative law litigation, White Collar Crime, Labor Law, Criminal Law and enforcement of foreign arbitration awards. Momen is a member of the Egyptian bar Association since 1992, he is currently admitted to plea before the Court of Appeals.
